Listening

IELTS Listening Test lasts for 25 to 30 minutes which will remain same for Academic and General Training Tests. Four different recordings will be played in all the four sections to answer 40 questions contains 10 question in each section. Type of question would be as follows:

Fill in the Blanks, Summary Completion, MCQs, Matching, labelling a Map or a diagram. For Pen paper based IELTS you will get 10 minutes extra time to transfer your answers while in Computer-delivered IELTS you will have 2 minutes in he end to review your Answers.

Reading

IELTS Reading section will lasts for 60 minutes contains 3 long passages for Academic and 3 – 4 short and 1 long passage for GT EXAM. Hence, it is advisable devote not more than 20 minutes to each passage. Types of questions would be as follows:

True/False/Not Given, MCQs, Fill in the Blanks, Summary, MCQs, Diagram labelling, List of Headings, Sentence Completion , Matching information etc.
No extra time will be allotted for Shifting the Answers.

Writing

IELTS Writing would again lasts for 60 minutes contains 2 different Tasks to write. 

First would be TASK 1 (Academic) to write a report on Line graph, Bar Graph, Pie chart, Table chart and a Map.

TASK 1 (GT) to write a Letter.

For TASK 2 similar for both is an essay report.

Speaking

IELTS Speaking exam is a face-to-face interview with an IELTS Examiner that lasts for 11- 14 minutes contains 3 sections. Part 1 contains Q/A round about introductory topics such as Home, Hometown etc.

Part 2 is a topic round. 1 minute preparation will be followed by 2 minutes speaking on given topic.
